School IT Facilities

There are a range of Information Technology (IT) facilities at Pacific Pines State High School. These facilities are designed to meet the needs of curriculum and to assist students in developing skills required for the future.

The school IT facilities include:

  • 4 Computers in the Learning Hub
  • 4 Computer Lab

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

It is an expectation that the parents of year 7 - 12 students will provide their child with a suitable device to participate in class eLearning activities and to ensure that they are fully able to engage and develop essential skills in the technology rich society we now have.

2019 BYOD Information Guide has been developed as a guide for parents and students throughout their BYOD journey at Pacific Pines State High School.

Microsoft Office for Students

Education Queensland has negotiated with Microsoft to allow students to download the Microsoft Office 2013 suite of products for FREE.

Students can change their own password here.

IT Support

The school IT Technicians are located in AR05.

The IT Technicians are able to assist students with issues involving hardware and software on school laptops and also with issues relating to accessing school computers. IT Support are able to assist students before school, afterschool, morning tea and lunch time.
