Pacific Pines State High would like to express our thanks to all families and students for supporting the government mandate to wear masks when in public, on school grounds, and on school and public buses. Our students have been absolutely amazing and the resilience they have demonstrated in these difficult times is to be commended.
Any student/family who has already contacted us regarding medical exemption from mask wearing has been given an exemption card. Teachers are aware of these students and have made appropriate physical changes in their classrooms to allow the student to safely socially distance themselves to stay healthy.
We understand that there is a small number of students that may yet not feel they are able to return to the classroom for a number of reasons. Unfortunately our teachers are no longer able to prepare remote learning lessons now they are back in the classroom, per EQ directives.
If you or your child have any questions or concerns regarding this government mandate and/or re-engaging with learning in school, please contact your student's year level ECO or administration.
Thank you for your ongoing support in this important matter.
Kind regards,
Mark Peggrem
Principal – Pacific Pines State High
