Early departure​​​

Students required to le​ave school before the usual departure time must follow the early departure process. ​This process includes:​

  • Before 8:45am student is to attend their phase level specific Student Services and ask for an early leave request with notification from their parent/carer with the reason for leaving early (phone call, email or note).
  • A 'Leave Request Slip' will be issued and must be shown to the supervising teacher to leave class at the time on the slip.
  • Student must report back to the Student Services to sign out immediately before leaving school.​

The only time a student is permitted to leave school grounds and be collected by their parent or carers with no prior approval is due to an emergency. 

Our staff are unable to relay a message to or collect a student during class time as this causes too much disruption to their lesson. We are unable to locate students during break times.
