We invite you to join us on the lands of the Kombumerri people on Thursday 26 June 2025 (Term 2, Week 10) as we gather to celebrate NAIDOC Week at Pacific Pines State High School.
Experience the rich culture and traditions of our First Nations peoples with a captivating smoking ceremony, mesmerizing performances, insightful guest speakers, learn the history of NAIDOC Week. This year's National NAIDOC Week marks 50 years of the week-long celebrations, and the theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, celebrates achievements of the past and the bright future ahead.

- Date: Thursday 26 June 2025 (Term 2, Week 10).
- Ceremony Times:
- Period 1: 9:10 am – 9:55 am for Year 8 and Year 10 students. Please arrive at 9:00am.
- Period 2: 10:05 am – 10:50 am for Year 11 and Year 9 students. Please arrive at 9:55am.
- Period 3: 11:40 am – 12:25 pm for Year 12 and Year 7 students. Please arrive at 11:30am.
- Location: Sports Hall, Pacific Pines State High School.
- Best parking: Santa Isobel Boulevard, Pacific Pines QLD 4211.
- RSVP: Please RSVP your attendance before close of business Friday 20 June
As a special guest, there is reserved seating for special guests that will be located next to the stage.
From 10:50 am – 11:30 am we invite you to join us for morning tea with our Pacific Pines State High School First Nations students, our school leadership team, and other special guests.
