NAPLAN testing in 2024 will occur in Term 1 for students in Years 7 and 9. Our school's NAPLAN test schedule starts on Wednesday 13 March and finishes on Monday 18 March as shown below:
- Wednesday 13 March: Writing and Reading
- Thursday 14 March: Conventions of Language and Numeracy
- Friday 15 March: Catch-up sessions for absent students
- Monday 18 March: Catch-up sessions for absent students
Parents who wish to withdraw their students from NAPLAN must complete the withdrawal form and return it to the office as a hard copy or via email to office@pacificpinesshs.eq.edu.au by 6 March 2024 to allow for planning and organisational time. We encourage parents to return withdrawal forms as soon as possible in Term 1.
Please note that if a student has not returned a withdrawal form, and is present on a NAPLAN testing day, they are required to sit the tests as stipulated by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
