The Pacific Pines Soccer program is committed to fostering a love for the sport, promoting physical wellbeing, and instilling our values of leadership, resilience, courage and commitment among our students.

The Soccer program caters to students of all skill levels. Our comprehensive curriculum focuses on developing technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and mental resilience. With a team of ‘C’ licensed and experienced coaches dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing environment for developing young athletes, we ensure that every player receives personalised attention and guidance.

Unique program elements of Soccer

The program offers opportunities in both Soccer and Futsal, with multiple tournaments to participate in throughout the year in all year levels and age groups. The program consists of:
  • 2 x sport specific Soccer training sessions and match play.
  • 1 x Strength and Conditioning session.
  • 1 x HPE health lesson - over the course of the Soccer Excellence program, students will study theory topics such as sport nutrition, exercise physiology, competition preparation and psychology.
  • Holistic Development: Our program emphasises holistic development. We promote lifelong traits such as teamwork, discipline and respect, preparing athletes for success on and off the field.
  • Competitive Opportunities: The program provides opportunities for students to showcase their skills in inter-school competitions, the QFSL (Queensland Football School League), and Futsal tournaments.
  • Training Sessions: There are two (2) training sessions for each team, run on multiple days of the week, before school from 7:30-8:30am. One (1) Soccer session and one (1) Futsal session.
  • Community Interaction: Actively engages the local community through hosting a yearly 9-a-side tournament at Pacific Pines Football Club, with the club running a canteen to raise funds for the club.

Current achievements and pathways

Students have pathways to participate for the school, district, regional and state teams to further their development. The program provides a great pathway into Physical Education and Health in Senior School, as well as, subjects from the Applied Pathway including Sport and Recreation or the Certificate II in Sport and Recreation/Certificate III in Fitness.

  • Futsal 2021 Australasian Champions 13yrs Girls.
  • Futsal 2023 Champion of Champions 15yrs Boys.
  • Futsal 2023 Brisbane Metro Titles 15yrs Boys.
  • Futsal 2020 Gold Coast Titles 14yrs Girls.
  • Futsal 2022 Gold Coast Titles 13yrs Girls.
  • Football 2023 QFSL Intermediate Boys Champions.
